Small Business Services

Are you trying to establish a business on the web? Do you have a hobby and want to sell your products? Are you fascinated by stories of authors who successfully self-publish?

We'll help you make sense of all the information pushing you to buy apps, online shops, email marketing systems and advertising to ultimately shape a business plan designed to succeed.

Among the many considerations to review are:

  • Niche. Should you have one?

  • Physical or digital products, or a combination of both

  • Viability of "print on demand" (POD) items

  • eBook and digital course creation

  • Hands-on or ultra-passive income

  • Determination of product success (do people need and want what I sell)

  • Viability of Facebook advertising and product boosts

  • Online presence - shops, web sites, and digital markets

  • Budget!

Other issues involve industry espionage (what are other folks doing), market research, email marketing, funnels, and how much effort is required to generate social media content.

Generating content to support your business goals alone is a huge issue as many business owners are not comfortable with writing, designing, or creating videos. What do you need to know? How much should you depend on outside help? What can you do for yourself?

The key to your overall success is "focus," and that is what we will help you to do. Click the button below to sign up for your initial consultation.

Your consultant - Karen Little

I (Karen Little) am one of the first people heavily involved in personal computing when it was first introduced, having co-created a computer services business, provided classes to Fortune 500 businesses in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and founded a successful non-profit, computer training school that helped low income people obtain jobs by virtue of acquiring new skills.

I've been self-employed through my own business in Milwaukee (Clear Concepts), where I wrote, illustrated, and produced technical documents, then moved to New York City where I freelanced until the age of 70, when I retired. (Yes, I am that old...)

My skills of interest to you include:

  • Face-to-face sales and big-ticket proposal writing

  • Business website development, including one of the nation's first online stores

  • Illustration

  • Development of numerous publications, including co-writing a best selling technical manual

  • Expertise in a number of software products including Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, CyberLink Power Director (video), Audacity (audio), HTML, and voice-over applications.

  • Working knowledge of today's online stores, such as Shopify, Samcart, Wix, Amazon Home Made, YouTube, and Etsy. I also spent 15 years as a programmer and am skilled in HTML and database management.

My introductory rate is $50, which we will use to set the agenda for your future activities and current requirements. Additional sessions are arranged as needed and are billed in $200 increments (4 hours). All sessions are based upon pre-arranged agendas, with satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.

Depending on your goals, you'll receive:

  • Project planning and organization advice

  • Evaluation of online tools and shops

  • Art and design direction

  • Writing assistance

  • SEO (search engine optimization)

  • Product Mock-Ups to add your store or site

  • Voice-over production for your videos or podcast

  • More . . .

It all starts by signing up for your introductory session, with your goals determined by a personal business goals inventory to be completed prior to our first meeting.
